Early Life and Inspiration
Taurai Chinofura, a talented Zimbabwean sculptor, was born on August 16, 1983, at Nyadhiri Mission in Murewa. Raised in a rural environment, Taurai’s early years were steeped in the natural beauty of Zimbabwe, which would later significantly influence his work. As the third-born in a family of five, he developed an early interest in art, channeling his creativity through the Art and Craft Crew at Resthaven Primary School in Domboshava.
